I read this one on my Kindle. While it was much better than the books I've been reading on the Kindle lately, it was not as good as the first two books in the Snow Island trilogy. It took awhile to reconnect with the inhabitants of the island and the story was not quite as interesting. I didn't care for the ending. The book felt, somehow, unfinished. But I'd love to read the author's next effort. I just hope that I don't have to wait years before that happens.
