A book picked up on a whim from reading the hightlights, which turned out to be a great story that provided a first rate reading experience. This is the authors first fictional novel after co-authoring some non fiction titles, which frankly I've never read. I'm glad I got this book. His follow up to this title is "After Havana" which follows the horn playing character Deacon from "The Ivory Coast's" 1955 Las Vegas, with all of its unique atmosphere (given the story), to the 1958 "After Havana" Cuba and all of its turbulent atmosphere. I don't believe Fleming has written any other fiction since so I highly recommend them, and both are now in my personal library.
