Great story. I thought maybe all the excess money the characters in the book had might make me druel a little in envy(well ok, it did), but they had just as many problems if not more than us average people. Many of the problems were because of the money, so it was good to see even rich, pampered princess can be just as messed up as the rest of us.

In the course of the book, many of these mean girls actually end up quite likeable. Seems like good storytelling to me if you can do that.

I'm not Jewish so my poor WASP self did not get a lot of the JAP jokes but thought this was a good read. Lots of character exploration and good change-of-life moments.

I picked this book expecting it to be enjoyable and light, but I was very disappointed. It wasn't funny, it was just bitter.

This is a touching look at the evolving friendships of five very different women. Well-written and funny, this is an enjoyable read.

While I was reading this book,it brought back so many memories of me at sleep away camp. Also, this book reminds you that when you were younger, the friends that you make, are the ones that most likely will make the most impact of your life.

Never been to camp so I don't know what that's like. But I've been in the world of filmmaking so I DO know what that's like. I really enjoyed the "getting back at those *itches from childhood angle.

The J.A.P. Chronicles cover art and book jackets quotes promising a fast, fun, and clever read led me to believe that this would be just that. Instead it is slow paced and bitter, and contains relatively graphic descriptions of child rape and other sexual abuses. I stopped reading this book and threw it away, an absolute first for me.

Stupid, confusing and banal. Pure crap.
