The rain hasn't started near me yet. But the Pinehurst area and surrounding towns have flooded roads and downed trees. There was at least 1 confirmed tornado southwest of me.

I received post cards from Claire, Towana and Rebecca this weekend.

Rebecca, I loved that you were able to get a  postcard from a town of 478 and, yet, I can't fnd one of my town of 11K!

I am buying stamps on Tuesday so will be mailing soon.

Thanks to Chris for the Hershey's postcard. I didn't know Hershey's had gardens. Chocolate sounds good right now :-)

Ani, my current town is 55,000, and postcards aren't available here either. I did find some once but they were done by artists. I didn't know Hayesville was so small when I was there. I knew it was small just not that small.

Nancy, thanks for the Glacier Bay postcard.  Yes, the glaciers are melting there too, just like in Greenland, Antarctica, and central Europe.

Thank you Towana for the awesome Montana postcard.  It really has the most amazing scenery!

Thank you Cindy for the lovely Nashville, TN postcard. I haven't seen this view of the city in a long time. We've only been driving through or around the city the last few years.  It is a fun place to visit.

Thank you Amy for the gorgeous waterfall postcard. How fun to be able to visit so many places close by.  I feel the same way about where I'm located in Indiana - so close to Michigan, Ohio and Illinois (especially Chicago) and I'm also still finding new places to explore.

Thank you Claire for the fun shark postcard. My nephew will love it!  He's obsessed with sharks!  I love that you still use the Japanese post it notes.  They are fun.

Many thanks to:

Melissa for the pretty columbine in the field postcard! Glad to hear your flower garden is in full bloom!

Amy for the interesting Laura Ingalls Wilder post card.

Claire for the Badlands post card! Speaking of weather disasters it's devastating to hear and see the news about the Camp Mystic flooding and loss of lives.

Rebecca for the scenic mountain waterfalls in Western, NC postcard! I need to go visit!

Al for the cute By The Sea postcard! It's never too late. Have a wonderful summer too!

Thank you to

Nancy for the North Cascades National Park card.  I love the picture.  It's like the calendar I have hanging up

Towana for the Grand Tetons National Park card. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I like the pictures of all the seasons.

Thank you Nancy D for the fun Olympic National Park postcard. Traveling on a whim is fun, but I agree it does take a small amount of planning time.

Thank you Rebecca for the beautiful wildflower postcard.  It looks like snow, so many white flowers!

Thanks to Towana for the Montana postcard.  I don't think I've ever seen a postcard with an image on the writing side too, or at least not that I can remember.
