I loved the setting for this story and the main character. My daughter worked for a time at the West Tisbury supermarket on Martha's Vineyard so I could identify with the location of the story. Cynthia Riggs does a great job of 'painting' a picture of the novel's setting. I read the rest of the series and then packed up the books and send them off for my daughter to enjoy...she was not disappointed.

Love this series. Four deaths in a short period of time on the island makes Victoria suspicious. Even though they were mostly elderly with medical problems, she's wondering if someone is killing off Islanders. Meanwhile, her granddaughter, Elizabeth, experiences problems with her controlling ex-husband.
