Yale University Press should be ashamed to have done such a bad job of editing: The text is repetitive, disorganized, and otherwise just badly written. Chapters Six and Seven, which talk about archaeological and anthropological matters, are so full of inaccuracies (of facts, not opinions) and misquotations that I stopped reading the book at this point. The few illustrations are all in black-and-white, so don't be too tempted by the handsome photo on the dust jacket..
