A very textbook-like discussion of Madison and both his faults and achievements. While not the best of presidents, he should be remembered for his successes in creating this nation.
I had to chuckle at the text stating Madison wrote Washington's inaugural address and and Congress' response. In essence Madison " was talking to himself."
I was also a bit surprised to discover he was older than I thought when he married Dolley Payne Todd.
