While the books in this series have been hit or miss, this book was awful. This book was just one big sex scene. There was no plot. One would think with at title of Jason, we would have learned of Jason's story, nope just multiple orgy scenes. No zombie raisings, no crime investigation, no character building. One more book like this and I will definitely stop reading this series.

There is nothing to spoil in this book. It is honestly just one big sex scene, while I was expecting a more hystorical story about how Jason became Jason. It's not. Sorry, not her best. I was unimpressed, disapointed, and well... I don't know if I will be getting her next book. :(

Trash. No plot, just about Anita trying to make sex with Jade better. Do not like the Jade character in the series or that she was added to the mix of Anita's lovers. This is just a filler book until her next one comes out. I think this series has hit the wall and it needs to end.

Love Laurell Hamilton and Jason is one of my favorite characters. It's great to get a bit more of his story and I hope that he and J.J. are very happy together.

This is one of the very few books that really has no violence, just lots of eroticism. It does set the stage for more intrigue with Jade, who was Anita's only female lover, so it will be interesting to see if Laurell is going to expand upon her character.

This was a quiet read, and I'm looking forward to reading Dead Ice next.

Another GREAT book in Laurell K Hamiltons Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series. this one is a short story of the character Jason. It focuses on his relationship with his new girl friend, his sexuality and his relationship with Anita. Also it explores more into Anita and some of her fears. This is a VERY graphic book, not for the faint of heart or if you don't like a lot of sex in a book. If you love Laurell K Hamiltons books and especially are a fan of the Anita Blake series this book is a MUST HAVE to add to your collection.:)

Holy hot sex Batman. Full of kink, not all my cup of tea, but entertaining nonetheless. I'm wondering if LKH is alternating sexy books with U.S. Marshall books. I'll be picking up Dead Ice shortly to figure that out. There is a very thin plot.

This story is one of Laurell K. Hamilton's shortest story I've read. It's not her usual Anita Blake thriller that leaves you hanging by the seat of your pants and unable to put the book down. It's a story that helps you get to know a few of the characters a little more, while leaving out 90% of the characters you've grown to love. This book only starred Nathaniel, Jason, J.J., Jade and Anita. The characters mentioned in this book were Jean-Claude, Richard, and Asher.

This book helps us get to know some of the characters and how they feel about being in a polyamorous relashionship, being bi-sexual and needing BDSM and pain with the pleasure sex can bring. It's hard to describe to a person who likes straight vanilla sex and in this book Anita attempts to enlighten J.J., Jason's love and help her make sense of it. I feel like she did a rather good job in trying to explain it, even I haven't been able to explain it to other's who like vanilla. It's a hard topic to explain to those who cannot fathom how pain can be a switch that makes a person go from getting in the mood to ready to cum because of the pain given in the right places at the right time.

Equally Anita seems to need help with her relationship with Jade. J.J. being bisexual tries to help Anita and Jade work through some of their problems in bed. With the help of Nathaniel, Jason and J.J. it turns out to be a weekend to remember.

Again this is a short read with no usual thriller or fight scenes that we've come to love about the Anita Blake books. The story is good, but it revolves around sex, so if you like something with more substance then this book is not for you. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a little more. Still it's a Laurell K. Hamilton book with the Anita Blake characters so hay you can't really go wrong....... Can't wait for her next book "Dead Ice".........
