I had difficulty getting into this story the first chapter or so but I kept on reading and then got so involved in it I stayed up all night reading it and could not put it down until I finished it. I did not realize this was Book 4. Now I have to find Books 1, 2, and 3. Thank God I am retired and can sleep all hours.

This book is a follow up from the 3 Gresham Chronicles.
The author seems to list it as a stand alone book but the story continues from book #3, takes place a few years later. The children are grown and married and life continues on with a new "widow" moving into the Inn.
