From the Help Center:

What is Book Journal?

Book Journal allows you to organize your books and more: you can "journal" each book and sort them by your journaled remarks; you can import and export lists between your computer, Book Journal, and your PaperBackSwap account.  Book Journal can be found in the menu that drops down under "Community" in the toolbar at the top of the site.  Book Journal is a paid subscription feature; you can take a 7-day trial run to see if it works for you!

Why use the Book Journal?

No more searching for a requested book!

  • When you get a request for a book from PBS, the "space" you have assigned to the book will appear right on the request!
  • Catalog each and every book in your house into "spaces", to put your hand on any book you want, whenever you want.

Journal books you have read

  • When you add a book to your collection, you can be prompted to answer questions you design in advance about the book, which allows you to sort your books in various ways.

This is very helpful to me as many of my To Be Traded and TBR books are packed in boxes for safe-keeping.  The book's location is included in the request so I don't need to go searching.
