I like this maybe because I love journals. I like how your words speed up at the end to mirror what you're saying.

Well captured! I myself re-experienced the new Journal this year. I always feel the "importantness" of that new First Entry. My version would probably end up repeating itself: A new, unwritten journal! Blank Page I like the "silky slide", "flowing freely", "dreams diurnal" (I am not sure "preferred pen" would improve it any.) I also like the "gathering dreams" imagery. Thanks for sharing it.
