I love all of her modern day books- not the historical as much. Any other authors that are similar to her? |

You might like Jayne Ann Krentz or Deborah Smith. They both do a good job of building thier characters. |

I have one or two by her, but haven't read them yet... I've been told she's good! I can't give you recommendations though, since I haven't read any yet:) |

I haven't really found another author who gets the same level of star-crossed "make you cry" books. Some of the Julia Quinn books have simliar star-crossed plots that have some tear jerking parts. A few of the Johanna Lindsey books do as well. However, neither of them are quite of the McNaught standard. |

I love Judith McNaught. Once and Always was my first book of hers and it was so awesome that I set out to read more of her books. Although, lately I haven't been keeping up with her. And now that I'm thinking about her, I wonder if she has anyhitng new out there? I thought I saw a couple of titles, but can't find any book descriptions of them. |

Natalie, she has a new book, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You, coming out 11/27/07 in hardcover. I think her last new release before that was Every Breath You Take. I'm pretty sure at the end of EBYT there was a preview of the new book and it was going to be about Kate's friend Holly. I could be totally wrong. Both are contemporary romances I don't think she's put out any new historicals. |

Judith McNaught is my favorite author. And I really love all her books, Paradise and A Kingdom of Dreams were my favorite ones. I really wish she would write more historicals, as she really gets you involved with her characters and story lines. Can't wait to read more from her. |

I can't remember which novel is which by the titles but I do love her books. There was a scene in one of her medieval books where the heroine is riding on a horse with the hero and she says something sarcastic that totally cracked me up. Hardest I've ever laughed while reading a romance novel. Just thought I'd share. ;) |

I actually prefer Judith Mcnaught's romance novels ( Paradise/Whitney, My Love ), more then her romance-suspence she's been writing lately. If you're more into her later efforts then you might like Sandra Brown or Linda Howards. |
