This information comes from Barnes & Noble's Book Club page for Philippa Gregory: Philippa's "Tudor" books - Helpful information, if you need it! Alas, It does say The Constant Princess *should* be read first if you want to be picky about it, and I don't have that one! |

Crap! I accidentally ordered a book I forgot I already had a copy of in my tbr pile. I have the hardcover book club edition of Rosemary Hawley Jarman's Crown in Candlelight. I'll throw it in as a freebie with any order from my shelf, just pm me. I haven't read it yet and the synopsis on the cover is long but it's about Henry V, Katherine, Owen Tudor, and Henry VI. |

This is available. Has anyone read it? Or read any of the other books by Cecelia Holland? There are a couple available by her that sound interesting. http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780345341105-Great+Maria |

I was wondering about Cecelia Holland myself, just last night. I ordered one her books, "Jerusalem," but I was wondering if anyone else has read anything by her. I have another one of her books "The Angel and the Sword" on my reminder list. I hope her books are as good as they sound. |

I requested Jerusalem too. I also ordered An Ordinary Woman which is about the very first woman to move to the West. I guess we'll both find out if her books are any good soon! |

Anyone heard of this author? Wine of Satan - A Novel of the First Crusade I actually found a nice copy of this book at the thrift store today and just realized that this exact book is available here. Oh well, I only paid 2 bucks for it. That's cheaper than a credit. Last Edited on: 7/30/07 6:35 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Just saw that there is a copy of Catherine by Henry Troyat available. I think this one is wishlisted in other editions. Also, this is available - The Decline and Fall of Practically Everybody : Great Figures of History Hilariously Humbled I'm reading this one now and it's a great light, comic read. Cuppy has a dry wit that makes a funny book. Last Edited on: 7/31/07 8:51 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
