My postcards are taking forever to arrive!  Melanie's and Nancy's were mailed on 20th but other 6 sent that day still have not arrived!  Al's was mailed on 23rd and arrived quickly. 
Anyone else having trouble getting first class mail to move along?

Thank you, Jeanne for my South of the Border Restaurant postcard. I always enjoy hearing abour your grandchildren and am so glad they are doing well. Congratulations to your granddaughter. I know your presence at her recital meant a lot to her! 
 
Thank you, Cyn for the scenic Tims Ford State Park Postcard that was so peaceful with a trees and lake image. How fun a pontoon boat tour sounds--prayers that it was! I told dad yesterday that it would be fun to take another local tourist type boat ride one day again :)

thank you to Jeanne for the Korea postcard with her haiku laugh

we are hoping for cooler days but looks like it's lingering thru this weekend. it's been 2 1/2 weeks so far so another 5 days or so and forecast to push to the east~ giving us back our chances of afternoon heat showers. no rain since June 8th. Someone has made Mother Nature angry!

Thank you everyone for all of the cards. 
some of you may know that my mom who is 97 years old fell and broke her hip on May 3.

after a hospital stay and rehab and then my brothers house.... she is back living with me. 
so my days are hectic. 
I may have forgotten to thank some of you personally but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the beautiful cards.

Thanks to Joyce for the Gillette Castle PC. While we were stationed at Groton for several years, Mrs. C and I never did get to tour that historic feature of CT. America! What a country!
