I am a pretty big fan of Allyson James/Jennifer Ashley. This is my first Tales of the Shareem book and it is basically porn in a sci-fi/fantasy world. There are some sweet parts and fun teasing but expect a sex scene about every third paragraph. It's not your typical vanilla sex scenes either. There is some voyeurism and light threesomes.

In case you haven't read the other books either, Shareems are lab created sex workers/lab rats. They are considered the bottom of the barrel in some worlds and some don't even think of them as human. I gathered that this series is mostly about how the Shareems integrate to everyday life now that all the labs have been shut down.

Surprisingly I didn't find the sex scenes that hot. They were decent, just not "wow." What I actually liked was the story. I was very curious how the relationship with Justin's biological daughter would pan out and what happened to the biological mother. It's a cute little story.
