A quick read and an enjoyable whoddunit.
The first of the mystery series featuring Berkeley California cop Jill Smith. Living in the Bay Area, it's especially fun to read about neighborhoods and places I know well. Dunlap writes well - well drawn plot, believable characters, and subtle humor. Recommended!

Jill Smith is a Berkeley police officer. She was present when a Bhutanese holy man announced that it was time for him to leave then fall to the ground. He was stabbed! This is a quick police procedural mystery.
