I have just started reading her books, and just love them!  So far her books are based in 13th century Scotland and England and are full of historical backgrounds (which I love! )  She really does her homework on her time periods, because at times she really gets into the gritty nature of what life was like in the 13th century.  Her characters really come alive, and her plots are amazing.  I'm always on the look out for a good historical author who can do it all, have good plots, give good historical detail, and then have an amazing love story on top of that !

Here are a list of her books incase anyone is interested:  Killgannon, The Wild Rose of Killgannon, On a Highland Shore, Rivals for the Crown, The Destiny, and the Legend.

The first book of hers I read was On a Highland Shore, which was fantastic.  And now I am reading the sequal Rivals for the Crown.   I have also read The Legend which I really enjoyed, and have ever since been trying to get a hold of a copy of The Destiny (which seems near to impossible to find).  I have Killgannon and The Wild Rose of Killgannon on my shelf at home waiting to be read.

I was also very excited to have recieved a reply from Kathleen Givens to an e-mail I had sent her in regards to the sequals of On a Highland Shore.  I had asked why the sister from On a Highland Shore did not get her own story as the sequal, because instead the sequal was about her children, which was a little confusing at first.  She was very nice and informed me that she had recieved many concerns about this, and is now in the process of writing that story!!!  How exciting is that!!!

Anyone have feed back about her books that you would like to share?
