From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 3-This colorful book is a delight. Activities include observing and collecting, cutting and pasting, preparing a picnic, sewing a bath mitt, planting a garden, and putting on a fair in the yard. Along with making potato prints, frozen fruit-juice pops, and newspaper hats is a xylophone using six identical glass tumblers filled or partially filled with varying amounts of water and the "music" for a song. Numbered directions and bright drawings clearly illustrate each project. The authors' instructions read as if they are speaking to a child, but adult help is needed. Projects are arranged in alphabetical order with each letter having from one to three activities. A lovely choice for crafters.
