Quite a different read than the mystery/thrillers I usually read. VERY good! Will definitely be on the lookout for more by this author!!!

Ruth Rendell has a long list of interesting mysteries, including her well-known & well-loved Chief Inspector Wexford novels. The Boston Sunday Globe said, that Ruth Rendell is, "the best mystery writter... anywhere in the English speaking world." She now has 4 major awrds for her work: an Edgar from the Mystery Writters of America for her short story "The Fallen Curtain", Current Crimes's Silver Cup for the best British crime novel of 1975,"Shake Hands Forever", and the Crime Writers Association's Golden Dagger for 1976's best crime novel ever," A Deamon in My View", plus the 1980 Arts Council National Book Award in Genre Fiction for "The Lake of Darkness".

Little of everything in this story - love, insanity, murder. Great read.
