Joan Fallon has the Power. A select few know that she can heal the sick with her hands. But only she knows that she can also bring sweet peace to the dying. Only she knows that she is willing to do it. And only she knows the awesome price she has paid for her ability to ease the suffering of others.

Eric Hall has a mission. There are too many unexplained deaths in the city. Someone is using their psychic powers to kill, and it's his job to find them and stop them. Even if the victims are smiling as they die. Even if the killer turns out to be the person he cares about most in the world...

Awesome read! Older book and a bit short but a great afternoon reader nonetheless. :)
