My daughter and I read this book thinking that we would be reading the "Kit movie" and were greatly surprised to find a much more entertaining story then the movie told!

Kit loves new adventures and writing about them. In this adventure a young boy helps out and gets fed as well as telling about his adventures. His tales stir up ideas within Kit and what starts as a kind gesture opens the door to some unwise choices. As Kit and Stirling go to the hobo camp to bring some supplies Kit's spirit for adventure wins out over making a wise choice. She does end up saving the day but she learns so much on the way. A great book to learn about making choices. My grandchildren and I enjoyed it and they still talk about her adventures.
