Reviewed in The Economist (p. 73, 10 October 2020, 'The Way of the World'} and I have not yet seen it. Mr. Burgis, of the Financial Times, is praised for sharing details of international corruption that are often not published because of libel laws. There are a few good guys such as the economist Nigel Wilkins and many, many crooks. A major theme is to remind readers of how many governments (especially the UK) welcome investments from boodlers.
