A coworker is trying to remember the title of a book she read in high school. She says the story was that junk mail (at one point dropped by planes) killed everyone from the sheer volume of mail. Then it's several hundred years later and archeologists are studying this society killed by junk mail. New detail she just told me: Archeologists uncover a bra and assume it's a ceremonial breast plate. Anyone know the title of this book or the author? Thanks for any direction! |

I believe the book you are referring to is Motel of the Mysteries by David Macaulay. I would use it to introduce my archaeology unit to 6th grade students. It is delightful. |
