Kristin Lavransdatter: The Bridal Wreath is part I in the 3 part series deatailing the life of Kristin, the daughter of a good, honest, noble land-owner in medieval Norway. It is an intricately woven tale rich with history, beliefs, customs, and everyday life. It is a novel of passion. Sin and innocence, desire and dignity collide early in Kristin's life-as she is forced to choose between her proud father's honor and her own loyalty to a dangerous love.

Included in this book are footnotes, diagrams and drawings to help you better understand the text. Reading this series has been an enriching, enjoyable experience.
