This book has beautiful colors on each page and I learned about this celebration of which I knew very little. The pop ups are absolutely fabulous. The pop up of mishumaa saha with the seven candles is super and the girl's hand moves to light the candles. The handmade mkeka or place mat (it is a woven mat) is also a very nice page and my favorite is the zawadi or gift as that one is fun to open. Any child would enjoy this book.
