MacShane is going back to Vietnam three days before the end of the war, but this time he's a CIA agent going undercover. His mission is to organize a network of agents who will "clean up" after the American forces leave. But in Saigon - violent, chaotic, and about to be overrun by the North Vietnamese - MacShane's cover is blown. He's quickly arrested by the secret police of the new regime and becomes a prisoner of war - after the war is over.

MacShane's only hope rests with his superiors in the States, at Langley, but they're all too busy covering their butts to worry much about MacShane. So now he's on his own. Death could be in the cards. Escape seems impossible. But there's more than one way to survive....
