Not my favorite King story, but interesting.

For me, King often sets up a great tale--yes, stock characters and all--but then drops the ball with ridiculous, unbelievable monsters, endings, etc. This one is rings true straight through to the all too soon end, thanks in part to the author's convincing telling.
