I noticed on a label that I printed out for a book that instead of saying Media Mail it says First Class on it. Is that an Opps because in the upper corner it says Media Mail rate. So I know that this will confuse the post office since it says Media Mail in one part and First Class in another. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, it seems to be a bug.

Just cover the words in the upper right corner with the stamps, or have the PO do it, then the wrapper is fine. It only confuses the PO if they read what's in the postage area before they stick the postage down. If they use the giant red letters in the lower right to choose the rate, then everything is o.k.

Ashley, evidently this is the new method for the wrappers.
It has the weight figured per book and the postage amt.
Since it has  First Rate printed on the bottom they are telling you it is cheaper and faster to mail it that way.
It took me a couple of wrappers to figure that out myself.
I had gotten into the habit of checking Amazon for the book weight to see what was cheaper, but I was still missing opportunities to save money.

Only problem I have now is that when I select to print it always defaults to the "problem" printing  screen. And it does on my home pc as well as when I am at work. I guess I need to let the team know about  it.

I just went to print a label and the default INCORRECT weight given was 3 oz (three ounces) - having sent out enough books I could tell it was probably triple that. To get the system to print a Media Mail label, I changed the weight to 9 oz.

When I just printed out a label, it said 3 # some odd ounces, which, fine, but then when I printed it out, the label says media mail in lower right corner but says first class in the upper right...

T hanks for sending this topic to them. Also, when I tell it to save my settings (I always send out books with DC, so I want that setting saved!) it doesn't do it. I have to click on DC every single time and then I keep having to click on save my settings, but it isn't working. Kinda of annoying after a bit.

Yes, Judye, thanks!

And Ashley - the very same thing happens with me. I tell it to save my preferences, and it never does. :(
