Once again, Jayne Ann Krentz, writing as Amanda Quick, proves why she is one of my favorite authors. The Lady Has A Past, is book 5 of her Burning Cove series, and was everything I have come to expect from Amanda Quick. The setting Burning Cove in the 1930's has that old Hollywood feel to it. Her characters are delightful, female detectives and men with a touch of paranormal gifts as well maybe a little bad boy/ secret agent vibe, come to life in the pages of this book. I love this series. It is a wonderful transition from her regency, Victorian and her modern paranormal romances.
