Not very many books play like a movie in my head. But this book was written so well that I literally saw it in my head as though I was watching a movie instead of reading a book. The tortures that Lady Allison thinks of for the reluctant playboy 'knight', had me rolling in laughter until tears fell from my eyes. The only thing that had me perplexed with this book, is the relationship between Lady Allison and Derek Sinclair.
For anyone who has read A Knight To Cherish, the you would know that My Lady In Time is the sequel to it. So if Lady Allison Pelsworth is a descendent of Garrick Sinclair, who is the long lost brother of Derek Sinclair, wouldn't that make Lady Allison Derek Sinclair's great-great niece?
That thought provoking question is the only reason why I gave this book four stars instead of five. Aside from that, this book will not leave you feeling disappointed. I would recommend reading A Knight To Cherish first though.

TAKE A MODERN MAN, HE THINKS USELESS, AND SEND HIM BACK TO THE PAST TO BE A HERO, LOVE TURNS THIS STORY IN TO A LOT OF FUN. TALK ABOUT MAKING A MAN INTO A MAN, A MAN'S MAN. THIS IS THE STORY. LADY ALLISON AND DEREK SINCLAIR WILL KEEP YOU ON YOUR TOES AND LAUGHING AS WELL. I INJOYED THIS STORY.

Handsome playboy Derek Sinclair is transported from 1998 California to 1498 England. Moreover, he is transported stark naked! This is a very funny and clever book. Angie Ray is a great comedic author.
