While cute, I did not find this book to be as amusing as it sounded. The premise is that Meredith Merriweather is so hurt from being left at the alter by a rake that she is writing a guidebook about rakes by performing research on them. While this would hint that a good portion of the book would involve funny encounters as she did research with the hero of the book, that rarely happened.

Humorous romp in Regency times.

Witty, sharp-tongued heroine pens a "cautionery" guide for other women on how to avoid the aristocratic bad boys. She runs into trouble with interferring aunts and a perfect match.

Entertaining and a enjoyable read. I love it when the hero goes after what he wants. Even when the woman is being single minded and stubborn.
