Ingredients
  • 3 LB - Hamburger
  • 1 LB - Sausage
  • 2 Cloves - Garlic
  • 1 1/2 Cup - Onion, diced
  • 2 1-LB Cans - Tomatoes, chopped up
  • 2 15 oz Cans - Tomato Sauce
  • 4 Tbs - Parsley
  • 2 Tsp - Salt
  • 2 Tsp - Chili Powder
  • 2 Tsp - Basil
  • 1 Tsp - Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp - Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp - Marjoram
  • 1/2 Tsp - Thyme
  • 1/2 Tsp - Oregano
  • 4 Tsp - Sugar
  • 8 oz - Lasagna Noodle
  • 2 Cup - Mozzarella Cheese, grated
  • 1 LB - Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 Lg Can - Parmasan Cheese
  • 2 Cup - Swiss Cheese, grated
  • 1 Cup - White Cheese, Farmer Pot, Brick, Monterey Jack, grated
  • 2 Cup - Yellow Cheese, Cheddar, Colby, grated
  • 12 Oz - Cottage Cheese, sm curd
Directions

Brown meat, onions, & garlic. Drain. Add spices, tomatoes, and sauce to meat and simmer Cook noodles in water and drain. Mix Cottage cheese & Ricotta cheese together. Use a large roaster, spead a layer of meat mixture to cover bottom.Cover this with a layer of noodles. Then cover with a layer of cheeses, beginning with the Cottage/Ricotta mix. Cover with a layer of noodles. Repeat meat/noodles/cheese/noodles until all is used. Final layer should be cheese.Place in oven at 350' for 2 hours or until the top is browned and the sauce is bubbly. Cool 20 minutes before serving. When leftovers are cooled, divide into meal-sized portions, wrap in foil, and freeze.
