How did we get from paganism to Christianity? This book goes country by country and explains all the machinations that allowed this transformation to take place and forever change the face of Europe. Over a roughly 50 year period, the world of "Europe" changed drastically.
Good book...unusually absorbing albeit a tad confusing with names of people you never heard of before, but an excellent read nonetheless.
