Major Joe Mack, a man born out of time. When his experimental aircraft is forced down in Russia and he escapes a Soviet prison camp, he must call upon the ancient skills of his Indian forebears to survive the vast Siberian wilderness.

Loved this book written by L'Amour but is not a western. It is written about a modern day Air Force Pilot but still has the fast moving adventure and thought that goes into all L'Amour books. You can not only follow through the pages of the book but also on a map and find every place Joe Mack travels. Very Very Good
