A stunning, well-written novel about World War II. A young woman, Claire, who experiences love, courage, intrigue and betrayal as she goes to Paris seeking the 'city of light." Her plans fall apart by the German Occupation. She agrees for a great sum of money to aid the French Resistance.
The tale will take you on a ride of adventure through dangerous circumstance; sometimes thrilling, sometimes near death. She is deceived & betrayed & determined to survive long enough to one day see Paris again. A great read, perhaps not for those who don't deal with graphic details about war scenes.
