Does anyone know what was done??  I haven't seen anything different.

I don't know what was done or if it was done. I've had access the whole time mostly, except for a couple of 502 gateways and 'can't find this page' pages. And those are the differences I've noticed. Also TPTB either never made an official announcement of the coming maintenance or I've missed it if they did. In CMT it was a fellow member who gave the warning.

I posted what TPTB posted on Sunday 5/17 about the 5/19 maintenance. I'm not sure if it happened Tuesday or not. I will not post the warning next time.

The warning was on the home page.  When I checked that evening it was no longer there.

I don't often visit the home page. There have been times when they've posted the maintenance  warning in the forums and I wish they did it that way in future. Of course, many members never bother with the  and a la carte members can't post (are they even permitted access to look at the forums?) so maybe it would be best if they posted in multiple locations or sent a group email to everyone.

The search function still doesn't work.

Alternate formats are still not provided on book info pages.

What did they do??

Sometimes "maintenance" can mean replacing a hard drive in a server or reindexing a database. If it was that sort of thing, you won't be able to see anything different.

The search function seems to be worse today (5/23/20). Went to the advanced search page and nothing would come up for my search term (Thomas Perry), either under keyword or author. Nothing came up for his book title (A Small Town). Finally got it using an ISBN. Then tried again with the name and it worked. One more time with the book title, no results. I did send a note to admins. 

The only difference I notice is that I'm getting my Daily Digest again every day.

I've noticed books which don't have descriptions now have this statement appear on that page.

I REALLY WISH THEY'D FIX THIS SITE!!!  VERY ANNOYING!

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm somewhere inside the PBS site. I click on "Log Off," but instead of logging me off the site, it takes me to the PBS home page, where I then log off. This has only happened to me since the latest maintenance.

And while I know it is not PBS' fault, as they explained it was due to a change made by the provider of their book information..... Wouldn't it be nice if the different versions of the same title were once again linked.  This so we'd be offered a different version of our WL title, or have that title on the way to us and the other versions of that title on our WL placed on hold. But PBS wrote they can't do anything until their information provider does something, fixes somethng, whatever....

All day today there is gibberish in the box under the USPS and covid banner on the main page. Anyone else seeing this? 

Nope, and Ive checked in here and seen that banner 4 times today. 

Thomas , going through my WL today I was seeing the 'Expand Wish' buttons again. So maybe that's finally getting fixed!

Mona,  what I see on the home page slideshow is an actual https:// raw link to the cdc.gov website, not a clickable picture as is usually there. The text looks like it may direct to an image address but it doesn't show a picture so a portion of the link is apparently broken.

Thank you, also, Linda. I trued to copy/paste your link but it says it has expired. I have had one other odd computer issue of late on my church's website. There are often white lines running through portions of it. Sometimes, when I click onto a normal image, the page will then load properly, other times, that does not work. I had wondered if something odd like that was happening on here, too! I appreciate your info :)
