Excellent book, a very well written legal thriller by a former trial attorney, so it is accurate. Although some of the characters appeared in the author's first book, The Mayor of Lexington Avenue, it is not necessary to read it first. In this book, a small time, petty thief is involoved in a robbery gone bad, when a very rich oil magnate is murdered. There are a lot of flash backs in the beginning of the book from the Jack's earlier years. The courtroom scenes are good. This author is not at all like Patterson or Grisham, he is better I am very much looking forward to more books by this author. Library book, so I can't help anyone who is wishlisting this book.
