This is heady stuff. Not for those looking for a ready answer or a quick fix, rather this volume is a thought-provoking meditation on themes of independence, intimacy, oppression, liberation, and dignity. Perhaps as you're reading it, as I did, you'll make a decision. Or perhaps you'll learn something along the way. In any case, the book is worth the effort it legitimately demands.
