I completely loved this book. It was so fun! I loved the time travel to "The Old West". Wouldn't we all love to do that? It was also surprising in parts....you think you know what's about to happen but it doesn't. Something completely different comes to pass. I read a lot so I love a book that surprises me and this one did. I thoroughly enjoyed this story! I would recommend it highly.

Time travel and lots of cooking references. A fun read, but a little cheesy. The chef approves!

Her wedding fast approaching, celebrated chef Kady Long knew she was the luckiest woman alive...until she slipped into a delicate satin wedding dress she found in an antique flour tin, and was overcome by an odd dizzy spell. When she came to, Kady was in the susty western town of Legend, Colorado- where a hanging was about to commence! With quick wits and more than a little moxie, Kady halts the proceedings, much to the relief of on Cole Jordan, a tall, thankful, and very appealing man.
Now it's Kady's turn to enlist his help to find a way back home. But before long, Kady discovers a passion that she knows can only live in Legend-until Cole reveals a secret that unites them in a way Kady never could have imagined.

This turned out to be a very different book than the typical romance novels I'm used to reading. The turn of events in this book was really refreshing and unexpected. Jude Deveraux surprises me once again. The characters was also likable and there were many part that made me laugh out loud. Good book.

I had a hard time putting this book down but I found that it wrapped up much too quickly. The logical part of my brain didn't like the end, but the happy ever after part was satisfied.

I have only read one of Jude Deveraux's books before this one, I fell absolutley in love with this book and the characters in the book. Through the story I was entertained, in love, enraged and ecstatic. I think this must be one of her best yet, I am a time travel fanatic when it comes to romance novels, so i may be a little bias. But that is O.K.
If you Love to read her books and have never read this one, it is one you will store away for a future date to read over and over again. If you mannage to get your hands on a copy of this book, I suggest that you be very particular when letting this one go!!!! A must read for any Deveraux Fan!!!!And i am the newest fan she has!!!!

This is the first book I read by Jude Deveraux and it's my all-time favorite of hers. I've read it at least 3 times and it's still enjoyable. Time travel creating alternate realities is always a fun thing to try and figure out!
