This is a simple tale that will ring true with young children. The rhyming story tells the tale of a town that thrives until Stingy arrives and teaches the citizens to be thoughtless and self-seeking. Then, the city changes until Sambino, the frog, tells Stingy that he must leave because he has caused the town to wither. When Stingy leaves, citizens return to their helpful ways, and the town is saved.
