Leslie Carol Roberts is a writer, Fulbright Fellow, and college professor. She has a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa in Nonfiction Writing and an Master of Arts from the University of Canterbury. An award-winning essayist, her work has appeared in The Iowa Review online, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Bangkok Post, The Nation (Bangkok), The Baltimore Sun, and The Christian Science Monitor. She lives in San Francisco and teaches at the California College of the Arts in the graduate design and writing programs. Her first book, The Entire Earth and Sky: Views on Antarctica will be released October 1, 2008.
