I thought that Lick started out pretty well, but I felt like it got pretty bogged down in the middle. I wanted to see more about his being a rock star, as that was what drew me to the book in the first place. I didn't really like the whole "insta-love" thing that happened either. Too convenient and over-blown. It seemed to me that the author should have allowed for more time to pass during the story. It would have made the whole big scene at the end seem far more believable to me. I'm a little bit interested to see what happens with the other members of the group in the next books, but I don't think I'm going to rush out and buy them. I hope that the author will develop the characters more as the series continues.
