A very interesting book. Elizabeth spent 20+ years fearing for own life until she became queen. She was the the last child of Henry VIII and vowed at 10 years old never to marry. She saw her father kill or divorce his wives until he died. Her own life was in jeopardy until she became queen.

Did she help her favored male companion the Earl of Leicester kill his wife? I do not believe so. For one thing he was cleared and Elizabeth forever distanced herself from him. Also, his wife has a breast tumor which was no doubt painful and it was reported that she threw herself down the stairs. What do you think? Listen to this story and draw your own conclusions.
