John O. (buzzby) -
Heavy on the biology, light on the astro, especially outside of the solar system. This is a counterpoint to the "Rare Earth" folks (he even devotes a chapter to refuting the book). Book written in 2001, he states "The next 2 decades will see our view of the universe change beyond recognition...", well, we're 65% of the way there, it hasn't happened yet, our old view is still recognizable.
