Although the text is probably more technical than a young dinosaur enthusiast can handle without adult help, the book is beautifully illustrated and might serve to stimulate an interest in what preceded and followed the dinosaurs. And there is a section devoted to dinosaurs - did you know that Utah has a state dinosaur? You will after you read this book!
