Loved this book! Mateo is a chef who came to America when he was an infant. He is gaining notoriety as a chef and is doing well. He is thinking of entering a contest when he suddenly passes out and luckily is found in time to be saved. He again gets sick and his doctor is trying to find out what is making him sick. You get the background on his parents and how they came to come to America. Loved the characters. I hope she will write another book in this series. So far it's a stand alone book. Excellent read!
