I enjoyed the book enough to rank it in the top 5 in my mystery-suspense category. I did not,however, find the final chapters as "utterly surprising" as claimed. In fact, I found the ending to be fairly predictable --- but enjoyable enough overall to be able to recommend. (4 stars)
