The Litigators
Author: John Grisham
The partners at Finley & Figg often refer to themselves as a “boutique law firm.” Boutique, as in chic, selective, and prosperous. Oscar Finley and Wally Figg are none of these things. They are a two-bit operation of ambulance chasers who bicker like an old married couple. Until change comes their way -- or, more accurately, stum...  more »

I ran out of stars or i would of given this book more. It was so entertaining. "John" (i think we can now be on 1st name basis as i have read all his books) can write... boy oh boy can he write! This read was more into what i call his "relaxed" mode and then worked itself into more serious matters. The "gang" of wanna be lawyers are endearing and silly and just plain likeable. Their ideas of "lawyer work" in the beginning of the book is rather unique, lazy and carefree . As the book rolls becomes... a few pages here, then a few pages there... more and more serious and now you are into a full scale suspense novel. Absolutely a brillient author and i wouldn't mind if he was my lawyer to boot...he has writing ideas that just goes beyond what you think he is going to do in directions. I am loving his new style of writing with Fords Country and the books for young adults are great reads for adults also. Never spent a bad moment with Mr. Grisham.

This was yet another fabulous book from Grisham! A story of an unhappy attorney at a large legal firm who quits his job and joins an ambulance chasing small firm of two rather inept lawyers. Don't want to spoil the story for you, it will keep you turning pages well into the night!

I thought this was a great story with some twists and turns and it kept you hooked. I am not a John Grisham "groupie" have read a few of the books and don't care for the court room drama genre, but this one was great and should not be missed.

Not the usual exciting, can't put it down, Grisham novel. It was good, good story line but boring @ times. Grisham novels usually grab me from the first page forward and this one did not. I have loved every book by this author, except The Pelican Brief and The Litigators will be added to that list. But.....keep writing Mr Grisham, can't wait for the next one!

The characters were well developed and likable. The plot line worked for me. Even the ending was better than many Grisham books.
