The Little Engine That Could. A wonderful illistrated book about a little engine that tried to pull the circus train over the mountain. As he is going up the mountain he is saying "I think I can, I think I can..." until he reaches the top of the mountain and as he goes down the mountain he is saying "I thought I could...." Great little story

Published 1961. The classic tale of the Little Engine that had to help a whole circus but didn't think he was really up to it. I think I can, I think I can...I thought I could, I thought I could.

When I read this to my Kindergarten class, I was reminded what is truly important in life, namely that marching milk bottles and dancing vegetables are really fun to draw.
