This is a fascinating book about the affects child abuse can have on a person, even in later life. Ruth Finley began to experience threats to her life, both in strange poetical letters and in bizarre phone calls. This was investigated by the police, who could never find a suspect. After she was overcome with suicidal depression, she began working with a psychiatrist who finally helped her uncover the unbelievable; she had been tormenting herself as a result of childhood trauma. This book was good from start to finish.
